Statement

With my images I want to show people things they haven’t seen or considered before. My practice is as much about looking as it is about taking the pictures. It's about chance, discovery, and connection with the outside world.


Biography

Corbett Berger is an artist whose work documents scenes of unexpected intensity in the modern American landscape. He received his MA and BA in Photography and Related Media from the State University of New York at Albany, where he was the recipient of two Roanne Kulakoff Research Awards. He received his MFA from the University of Connecticut in 2022. He has exhibited work in various exhibitions including at: Collar Works Gallery, Troy, NY; Pilsen Arts & Community House, Chicago, IL; and Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA. He lives and works in Connecticut.
